Job Title: Sr. Clinical Programmer
Description:
The candidate will implement and deliver SAS programs for Biometrics deliverables within project timelines. Assure overall work product quality and integrity. Generate Tables, Listings, and Graphs (TLGs) for assigned studies according to Statistical Analysis Plan. Ensure conformation to e-submission and CDISC standards for all studies. Assist in performing more complex programming in support of ad-hoc requests. Effectively interact with and monitor CRO deliverables. Assist in leading the development of benchmarks and other measures to gauge existing processes and implement solutions to facilitate process improvement. Work within a multi-departmental, cross functional team.
Qualifications:
Candidate must possess a BS or MS in statistics, biostatistics, mathematics, computer science, or other relevant scientific area; MS in statistics/biostatistics preferred. A minimum 5 years of SAS programming and clinical trial reporting experience is required. The individual must have excellent programming skills in SAS with focus on ODS, macro, SAS/Graph, data _null_, and proc Report. Experience with S+ strongly desired. Demonstrated ability to successfully lead the programming component of a clinical trial report submission. Other desirable qualifications include knowledge of the software development life cycle, 21CFR Part 11, and other FDA regulations. In addition, knowledge of clinical reporting processes and industry trends such as e-submission process and CDISC, ability to provide clear written and verbal communication, and demonstrate ability to work in a team environment and management of multiple projects and priorities are essential.
