Job Title: Clinical Programmer
Description:
The candidate will implement and deliver, with minimal supervision, assigned SAS programs for Biometrics deliverables within project timelines. Assure overall work product quality and integrity. Generate Tables, Listings, and Graphs (TLGs) for assigned studies according to Statistical Analysis Plan. Assist in ensuring work products conform to e-submission and CDISC standards for all studies. Assist in performing complex programming in support of ad-hoc requests. Effectively interact, under supervision, with CRO deliverables. Provide suggestions for developing benchmarks and other measures to gauge existing processes and implementing solutions to facilitate process improvement. Work within a multi-departmental, cross functional team.
Qualifications:
Candidate must possess a BS or MS in statistics, biostatistics, mathematics, computer science, or other relevant scientific area; MS in statistics/biostatistics preferred. A minimum 2 years of SAS programming and clinical trial reporting experience is required. The individual must have excellent programming skills in SAS with focus on macro, SAS/Graph, data _null_, and proc Report. Experience with S+ desired. Demonstrate ability to successfully contribute to the programming component of a clinical trial report submission. Other desirable qualifications include basic knowledge of software development life cycle, 21CFR Part 11, and other FDA regulations. In addition, knowledge of clinical reporting processes and industry trends such as e-submission process and CDISC, ability to provide clear written and verbal communication, demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and management of multiple priorities are essential.
